As of Nintendo releasing its most up to date financial results, we now know that the Nintendo Switch has sold 41.67 million units since its launch in March 2017 and the top 10 best selling games on Nintendo Switch. To put that into perspective, the Nintendo 64 sold 32.93 million units and the Super Nintendo sold 49.1 million units throughout their entire lifespans.
The Switch has also sold 246.01 million software units that were specifically published by Nintendo themselves. Here are some more numbers:

- Operating income: 66.794 million this fiscal quarter; 94.222 million this fiscal year
- Net profit: 45.414 million this fiscal quarter; 62.018 million this fiscal year

- 1.95 million Switch Lite units sold this fiscal quarter/year
- 4.8 million overall Switch units sold this fiscal quarter; 6.93 million this fiscal year
