Last night was the 2018 Famitsu Awards, a Japanese gaming event that honours all of gaming in Japan. The biggest takeaway from the event is that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate won Game of the Year alongside Monster Hunter: World and Masahiro Sakurai won the MVP Award.
