BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! Single-Player 100% Walkthrough: World 12 (Dummy Block Driver)
BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! may start off pretty simple, but it gets tricky pretty quickly. So let’s get started on the single-player segment: World 12 Dummy Block Driver.

World 12-1
Boxes Used: 14
Push the diamond boxes to the right into the pit, make one box and use it as a step up. Then the next diamond boxes into the spiked pit and make a three-boxed backwards L (right x2, up) and use them as stairs up and over.
Next, push the boxes to the right so that they fall down. Push them to the right so they fall onto the spikes and once again, make a three-boxed backwards L to use as stairs.
Lastly, push the diamond boxes a little to the right but not all the way, make a three-boxed right hook (up x2, right) and hook yourself on to pull yourself up. Jump to grab the Crown, fall down, push the diamond boxes to the far right andmake the three-boxed right hook again to pull yourself up. Throw a single box onto the spikes as far right as you can manage and jump over to the door.
World 12-2
Boxes Used: 16
Make four boxes horizontally and throw the the left box onto the spikes, creating a bridge to cross and allowing you to push the diamond boxes into the pit.
Make two vertical boxes and throw them as far right as possible onto the spikes. Jump onto them and push the diamond boxes to the right. Then make a single box to use as a step to get up and over.
Stand on the edge and make a four-boxed backwards S (right x2, down, right) to drop down onto the spikes. Drop down and push the diamond boxes, but not too far. Instead, position the diamond boxes so that you’ll be able to jump onto them from the left ledge. Then throw a single box onto the spikes, jump to get the Crown and then jump back onto the diamond boxes.
Now dismantle that box, drop down to the left of the diamond boxes and push them to the far right. Then make a single block to get up onto them and then a three-boxed backwards L (right x2, up) to use as stairs. Push the other set of diamond boxes into the pit and you’re done.
World 12-3
Boxes Used: 23
Make four boxes horizontally, pushing the diamond boxes out, and press Y to snake your way through. Next from the ledge, make three boxes right, up and press Y to snake your way through again.
Go to the far right and make a five-boxed even right hook above yourself (up x3, right x2) and pull yourself up.
Lastly, stand on the ledge and make five boxes in this order: right, down, right, up, right (as shown below) and press Y. You’ll then be able to squeeze your way through and grab the Crown. Then make a three-boxed right hook above yourself and press Y to pull yourself up.
World 12-4
Boxes Used: 37
Stand to the left of the diamond boxes and start making boxes in the one-boxed crevice. Make boxes to push the diamond block up and right, but retract the boxes without pulling yourself into the crevice. Instead, make boxes against the wall just above the spike pit to push you right, then, while you are still hovering on top of the spikes, make four boxes to pull yourself into the little crevice. Then use six boxes to get onto the upper ledge.
If you stand on the very edge of the ledge before the next spike pit, you only need to use five boxes to pull yourself up under the crown. Make boxes to push the diamond block left, then retract them and make four boxes to pull yourself up and collect the crown on the way.
Use four boxes to pull yourself into the one-tile hole in the next diamond block, then wiggle right one and a half tiles, and use four boxes to push the diamond block all the way right, onto the button, and pull yourself into the hole again. Use six boxes to pull yourself onto the ledge where the door is. Now, make two boxes to the left, and waddle left until you can pull yourself into the little ledge where the second crown is and collect it.
Use two more boxes to pull yourself back to the ledge where the door is.
World 12-5
Boxes Used: 26
Head to the far left and make a single box in the crevice. Let go of the Y button and with this, you can bring back the diamond boxes. Place them underneath the blue silhouette and with the crevice, make four boxes upward to proceed.
Make a single block in the crevice to pull the diamond boxes back a few spaces. Then make a four-boxed right hook to pull yourself up on top. On top, make a four-boxed backwards S (right x2, down, right) and place it down so that the leftmost box is teetering on the edge. Now you can make your way over, grabbing the Crown along the way.
make three boxes to the right above yourself, pushing the diamond boxes out and retract them. Jump up and make a three-boxed left hook above yourself to pull yourself up. Jump over to the diamond boxes, make a single box and throw it over to the left ledge. Then jump onto that box and grab the Crown.
Now make your way to the right side of the diamond boxes and push them to the left. Make four boxes upward within the crevice and push them over to the left so that they slot onto the section in the top-left corner, covering the blue silhouette in the process. Now make a four-boxed right hook above yourself and pull yourself up to the door.
World 12-6
Boxes Used: 27
Use two rightward boxes to grab the diamond boxes and place them down so that they’re inline with the ledge. Then make a four-boxed right hook above yourself to get up and then a three-boxed backwards L (right x2, up) to use as steps upward.
Use a five-boxed left hook above yourself (up x4, left), bring the diamond boxes into the middle and as you press X to let them fall, move to the left so that they fall on top of you and you can walk to the left to be on the left side of them. Now, push the diamond boxes to the right but only so that the leftmost box is teetering on the edge. Then make a three-boxed right hook above yourself to get up on top and then make a three-boxed backwards L to use as steps upwards.
Lastly, use some boxes to lift the diamond boxes up onto the ledge and then retract them. Make a single box to use it as a step upwards, then push enough room so that you can place another single box onto the ledge without pushing the diamond boxes into the spikes. Then make five boxes to make stairs going up-right (right x2, up, right, up), place them into the middle and climb them to grab the Crown as shown below. Head down, push the stairs to the far right and climb up again to the top.
World 12-7
Boxes Used: 35
Make a four-boxed left hook above yourself and bring yourself up above the diamond boxes. Drop down to the left of them, use five rightward boxes to push the diamond boxes out and then retract them. Jump out, over the spikes push the diamond boxes into the pit. Make a three-boxed right hook and pull yourself up. Then make a three-boxed backwards L as steps to get up and over to the right side of the other diamond boxes with the Crown in the middle. Here, make a forward facing three-boxed L and place them down as far left as possible, leaving enough space to get the Crown and make your way up as shown below. Then make a five-boxed right hook to get up to the ledge.
Make a four-boxed right hook to get over the diamond boxes on the right. Use the same tactic as before by making five boxes leftwards and then retracting them to get the diamond boxes to the left. Then make two boxes leftward and throw them as far left onto the spikes as possible. Jump onto them and use them to jump and climb the diamond box steps. Make two boxes to the left, pushing the diamond boxes left, retract one and place it on the spikes so you can grab the Crown.
Then make a three-boxed forward facing L to act as stairs, get over to the left side of the diamond boxes, do the five-box push out tactic, retract them and make a three-boxed backwards L to get up on top of the diamond boxes. Then make a four-boxed right hook, get up and that’s the end of World 12.
