BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! Co-Op 100% Walkthrough: World 7 (Dodging Laser á Deux)
BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! may start off pretty simple, but it gets tricky pretty quickly. So let’s get started on the co-op segment: World 7 (Dodging Laser á Deux).

World 7-1
Boxes Used: 3
Have one player stand on top of the other and make a box above them to protect you from the laser. Then throw that box down to the right to use it as a step.
For the second section and the Crown, make a single box and throw it down to block the laser. Then have one player stand on top of the other, jump onto the box and jump. Whilst in midair, have the other player jump and they’ll reach the Crown.
Lastly, still having one player on top of the other, make a single box to use as a step and have the player on top make a box above them to protect them from the laser, only to retract it once you’ve past.
World 7-2
Boxes Used: 7
Make a single box and throw it in front of the laser. Jump down and have the other box place another single box next to the right ledge to climb up. For the second pit, throw two vertical boxes down, drop in and push them to the far right. Then have the other player make a single box to the left of them and use them as stairs.
For the Crown and the end, have one player make two vertical boxes downwards and keep the Y button pressed down. Have the other player make two right horizontal boxes and put them down on the other boxes to use as a bridge in order to jump and grab the Crown as shown below. Then have the other top player retract the boxes. Lastly, have the player who has now fallen to the bottom make two boxes upwards next to the laser, have the other player go through and retract the boxes.
World 7-3
Boxes Used: 11
First, throw a single box as far right into the pit as you can and push it to the laser cannon. Then have the other player place a box on the other cannon so that they work as stairs. For the second section, make a three-boxed even left hook (up, right, down) and throw it over the laser cannons so that it blocks both of them. Then the other player needs to place a single box to act as a step to get up and over.
For the last section and the Crown, throw a three-boxed backwards facing L (right x2, up) down into the pit as far right as you can. Then jump down and push them to the right, collecting the Crown along the way. Once that’s done, have the other player climb the steps, placing two horizontal boxes on top of the other laser cannons and head to the door.
World 7-4
Boxes Used: 6
Make a four-boxed forward facing S (right x2, up, right) and throw it down into the pit to the far right. Then drop down there and push it to the right so that it cuts off the top layer.
Both players need to jump on the boxes and the player who made the S needs to jump on top of the other and the bottom player makes boxes upwards (but don’t let go of the Y button), pushing the other player closer to the Crown.
Retract the boxes and then make a single box and drop it in front of the right laser. Then the player who made the S needs to make a single box to the far right to get up to the door.
World 7-5
Boxes Used: 18
Have one player stand on top of the other. Have the player on top make a single box to the right and hold onto it, whilst the bottom player makes three boxes upwards so that the top player can retract the box and jump up. Next, have the bottom player retract their boxes and the top player stand on the cannon and make a three-boxed backwards L (left, down, left). Then have the bottom player make a four-boxed right hook and grab onto the top player’s boxes to pull themselves up, afterwhich the top player can retract the boxes.
For the second section, have the leftmost player make four boxes above them and hold onto them, whilst the rightmost player makes an even three-boxed right hook above them (up x2, right) and use it to pull themselves up. Then the player also needs to make an even three-boxed right hook above them to pull them up to the first step. Then have the above player make three boxes left and one down to block the laser and then the bottom player can jump up. Once that’s done, retract the boxes.
Lastly, have one player make four boxes to the right and hold onto them whilst the other runs to the end and throws four vertical boxes down, providing a platform to jump and retrieve the Crown.
Then have the first player retract the boxes and also make four vertical boxes, dropping them straight down and allowing both players to reach the door without being zapped by the laser.
World 7-6
Boxes Used: 9
Have BOXBOY make five horizontal boxes and throw them into the pit, stopping the lasers from shooting upwards. Then have BOXGIRL make two horizontal boxes to the left above her to use as a helmet of sorts. Have her walk up to BOXBOY and have him push her back to the right and into the middle.
For the Crown, have BOXBOY stand on top of BOXGIRL and have her make boxes upwards so that he can grab the Crown.
Then have her retract the boxes, remake the two boxes above her to the left and have BOXBOY push her from the left to right.
World 7-7
Boxes Used: 5
Have BOXGIRL make a three-boxed backwards L (right x2, up) and place it to the right as stairs. Then have BOXBOY make a single box and throw it down as far right as possible. BOXGIRL then needs to stand on the top step and BOXBOY fall down on top of her, only for him to then push the box to the right and work their way up.
Next, one player needs to stand on the edge and make boxes in this order: right, down, right x3 and hold onto them, effectively stopping both lasers. This allows the other player to make their way across and drop down. Then the bottom player needs to stand just right of the laser cannon and make a forward-facing S to the left (left x2, down, left) and hold onto it, whilst the above player makes one box to the left and jump down with it, protecting themselves from the side laser and dropping down to grab the Crown.
Once that’s done and the other player is on safe ground, retract the four boxes.
For the final part, have one player stand on top of the other next to the cannon. The player on top needs to make a single box to the left and hold it there, whilst the bottom player makes three boxes up and one box right, allowing the top player to get up. Retract all boxes. Then the bottom player needs to make five vertical boxes downwards so as to push themselves up, whilst the top player makes fives boxes as stairs going down-left (left, down, left, down, left).
Then have the bottom player retract the boxes, landing safely on the bottom box, and make for the door. Now the other player can retract their box and do the same. How’s that; we got up there without adding a single box to the tally!
