For this week’s Switch Kickstarter Project of the Week, we will be looking at Matrioshka Games’ Fallen Angel. The game is slated to release in June 2020 and when asked about a console release, here’s what was said:

We want to do a simultaneous launch with Switch, Xbox, and Playstation, but that depends on if we reach our goals. Stay tuned for stretch goals!

Here’s the game’s overview:

Fallen Angel is a pixel art hack and slash action RPG where you play as Lucifer returning to the Kingdom of Heaven to seek revenge against your maker.

Battle a diverse army of angelic enemies in fast paced, frenetic combat with an aerial flare inspired by games like Bayonetta and Devil May Cry.

Explore seven unique realms of heaven and defeat the Archangel boss guarding each one.

Fallen Angel features a beautiful and nostalgic art style combined with modern combat design inspired by other indie games like Hyper Light Drifter and Wizard of Legend.

Fallen Angel’s core gameplay is about fast and satisfying top down action. Rip through hordes of angels, knock them into the air, and smash them into oblivion.

Fallen Angel requires $20,000USD and is currently sitting at $4,843 after 109 backers with 24 days remaining. So if you’d like to support the development of this game and secure yourself, click the link below.
