Ubisoft Announces New Rabbids Game for Nintendo Switch; Inspired by Journey to the West

In a seemingly random move, Ubisoft has just announced a brand new Rabbids game. However, what’s uncommon about this is that it has only been officially revealed to the gaming audience in China as Nintendo and Tencent are currently working to bring the Nintendo Switch to the Chinese gaming market.

This new Rabbids game is a party game much like its predecessors and won’t be a strategy-RPG like the critically acclaimed Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. Inspired by the classic tale, Journey to the West, this entry will be centred around an historical China and will be shown off much more at this year’s ChinaJoy from August 2nd to August 5th.

We also don’t know as to whether this game will be released outside of China as it has only been revealed there, however we would be surprised if it didn’t.
