We at Switchaboo are based in Australia and sometimes it’s nice to see our home country receive some recognition. There are some incredibly talented video game developers and publishers here in Australia, some whom you may not expect to come from the land down under. So we took the best of the best that this country has to offer and listed them in alphabetical order.

Sydney-based developer Blowfish Studios are all-in on supporting the Nintendo Switch and Minesweeper Genius has been our favourite game of them so far. This entry is the next evolution for Minesweeping. Whilst the gameplay is similar enough that Minesweeper veterans will ease into it, it provides difficult, calculating puzzles that are satisfying to complete.

Screencheat: Unplugged is a deathmatch shooter where every player is invisible, so the only way to know where your opponents are is to look at their screen to determine their whereabouts. This makes for some intense party fund that will take you back to the glory days of playing Goldeneye on your Nintendo 64.
