BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! may start off pretty simple, but it gets tricky pretty quickly. So let’s get started on the A Tall Tale segment: World 3 (Go Long, Switch-Hitter!).

As there is a lot to cover, you may stumble across a solution to a level that may either be incomplete or not to the best it could be. If you have any solutions, please be so kind as to email us at team@switchaboo.com and we’ll be sure to provide credit if we use it.

World 3-1

Boxes Used: 10

Run to the right and make three vertical boxes to cover the blue silhouette. Do the same for the second silhouette but you’ll only need two… same for the second blue silhouette.

For the Crown, head right and face left. Rotating to the left, make three boxes as steps (left x2, up). This will cover the red silhouette (allowing you to get to the door) and grab the Crown by rotating upwards and jumping.

World 3-2

Boxes Used: 10

Stand underneath and just to the left of the blue button and make a vertical three-boxed right hook above yourself and drop them onto the button.

Next, make a horizontal three-boxed right hook above yourself and jump up to drop them onto the red button.

Lastly, stand on the right side of the bottom platform and drop a single vertical box to use as a stepping stone to get to the right floating block. Then face left and make one box up and left vertically. Then jump left to hook onto the top platform and pull yourself up. Here you can grab the Crown and place a single box on the blue button and make for the door.

World 3-3

Boxes Used: 12

Make four vertical boxes in this order: right, up, right x2 and drop them down into the pit to cover both blue silhouettes. For the second pit, rotate clockwise once and make four boxes in this order: right, up, right, up, allowing you to use them as steps.

For the Crown and door, make four vertical boxes in this order: right, down, right x2 and drop them into the pit on the left side. This will allow you to jump down, grab the Crown and make for the door.

World 3-4

Boxes Used: 10

Stand to the right of the silhouettes and make three horizontal boxes in this order: left, up, left in order to cover both silhouettes.

For the Crown, stand to the far right facing left and make four boxes in this order: left x2, down x2 which will lift you up to collect the Crown and drop down to have the boxes cover the silhouettes.

For the last part, rotate clockwise and have it so that your top half is hanging over the pit (with a sideways roller door in the way). Make three horizontal boxes in this order: right, down x2 and drop it. This will cover the blue and red silhouette, so drop it down and the boxes will fall before the roller door closes. Now you can make for the door, but make sure you jump over the blue silhouette first.

World 3-5

Boxes Used: 13

Stand on the edge and make three vertical boxes in this order: right, down, right. Now jump down and over the block platform.

For the Crown, stand on the edge rotated to the right and make five boxes in this order: right x2, up, right, up and drop them so that the rightmost boxes hooks onto the red platform. Now you can make your way across, grabbing the Crown along the way.

For the second Crown and the door make the same order of boxes as the last pit and drop the leftmost box to the left of the pit, making stairs and covering the blue silhouette. Grab the Crown and make for the door.
