Since its launch, Tetris 99 has exclusively been an online game that has required the player to be subscribed to the Nintendo Switch Online service. But as of today, Nintendo has released the free Big Block DLC ($15.00 AUD / $16.50 NZD) that adds two new offline modes: CPU Battle and Marathon.

Furthermore, the third TETRIS® 99 Grand Prix event will be happening from Friday 17th May at 5:00pm AEST to Monday 20th May at 4:59pm AEST.
