BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! may start off pretty simple, but it gets tricky pretty quickly. So let’s get started on the single-player segment: World 5 Dig for Victory.

As there is a lot to cover, you may stumble across a solution to a level that may either be incomplete or not to the best it could be. If you have any solutions, please be so kind as to email us at team@switchaboo.com and we’ll be sure to provide credit if we use it.

World 5-1

Boxes Used: 34

Make five boxes to the right through the cement and then retract them aside from the first square and press to be pulled in. Then wiggle through all the way to the far right and make a three-boxed right hook and bring yourself up.

For the next section, make boxes in this order: right x2, down, right x2 and press Y. Then snake through three boxes and press Y to pull yourself up.

Next part, make four boxes right, one down and press Y. Then make two boxes right to clear the cement, retract one, press Y and wiggle through.

For the last section and the Crown, make five boxes up and around, keeping close the wall above. Then make three boxes right, one down and one right and press Y.

Make a box right and down, press Y and then make four boxes to the right and retract yourself to get to the door.

World 5-2

Boxes Used: 29

Make a hook three boxes up and one right and pull yourself up. Make three boxes to the right to rid the cement and retract them so that you can wiggle your way through.

From the edge, make one box right, all the way up and right one to pull yourself back up. Do the same thing we did last time, clearing the cement and make your way to the end.

For the next part, do the same thing but five up and one to the right. Make two to the right to clear some cement and retract it so that you can wiggle to the edge. Then make six boxes around as shown below and pull yourself up.

Then make two boxes up, right one and press Y. Make one more to the right, retract it and wiggle to the right. Then use four more to get up and over to the door.

World 5-3

Boxes Used: 37

Move to the edge and make six boxes in this order: right x3, down x2, right and press Y.

Then make two boxes to the right, retract them and wiggle to the edge. Repeat the same process for the second cement stalactite. Then for the third stalactite, manoeuvre the boxes around the zappers.

Make three boxes in this order: right, up, right and pull yourself through. Then make another six to the next stalactite one box down from the Crown. Once again, make six boxes: left x2, up x2, right x2.

Make two boxes to the right, retract them, wiggle through and make six boxes right and down to get to the door.

World 5-4

Boxes Used: 28

Go to the far left, make five boxes up and one to the right and pull yourself up. Then make one box up and right and pull up again. Now make five boxes right, retract them and wiggle through. Then make boxes up three, left two, retract it once and pull yourself up. Wiggle to the left and make six boxes in the order shown below so that you also collect the Crown…

Make hooks upwards whilst using as little boxes as possible and get to the door.

World 5-5

Boxes Used: 14

Dig four boxes down to the blue silhouette, retract them back up and drop a single box down there. Jump over the gap and move on.

For the next section, take out three cements squares (two up and one left from the red silhouette) and then make three boxes up and one left and throw it into the hole to cover the silhouette. I know that sounds confusing, so use the image below as a guide…

Do the same thing for the crown but one lower and make them above you so that you can jump in and pull yourself back up as shown below…

Finally do the same thing for the blue silhouette but throw it in one box longer.

World 5-6

Boxes Used: 26

Make two boxes up and right so that you can pull yourself up next to the silhouette. Make boxes to the right to clear up all cement blocks to the right, three to the right one row above and one down and left of the other blue silhouette. That also sounds confusing, so just look at the screenshot below…

Make a seven-boxed bridge to the right, with the two leftmost boxes being secure on solid ground. Duck down and wiggle under the hanging cement wall, walk over and grab the Crown and move back (if you can’t squeeze back, make a box to the left so that it lands on the cement and you can pull yourself back.

Now make a path from the left blue silhouette up and to the right so that the path from one silhouette to the other is clear and stop yourself on the floating island of cement.

Make three boxes to the right and pull yourself that way. Then make seven boxes covering both silhouettes at once. The roller door will open and the door will be open to you.

World 5-7

Boxes Used: 43

Make one box into the first bit of cement and press Y into it. Then use another box on the next block of cement but retract it and wiggle to the left. Now make boxes down and around to the cement below. Clear up the cement in a 2×2 square in the top-right corner of it and retract the boxes. stand on the bottom-left side and get to the top-left block in the next part. Now make boxes right, down x2, right, up and then jump down.

Stand on the edge and make boxes down x4, right, up, right x2 and pull yourself through.

Push your way through and get up to the cement block above. Free up all the cement here and make six boxes to the right towards the Crown and place the leftmost box down teetering over the edge.

Now move back, push the boxes down and pull yourself up as shown below…

Make your way up (keeping in mind the wiggling technique) and get to the door.
