BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! Co-op 100% Walkthrough: World 4 (Climb Together with Up Hook)
BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! may start off pretty simple, but it gets tricky pretty quickly. So let’s get started on the co-op segment: World 4 (Climb Together with Up Hook).

World 4-1
Boxes Used: 11
To save on boxes, make the four-boxed hook with the other player standing on top, avoiding you both having to use four boxes.
For the last gap and the Crown, have one player make three boxes horizontally and have the other player walk on it and collect the Crown and jumping over to the other side. The original player can now drop the boxes so the far-left one is teetering on the edge and make their way over.
World 4-2
Boxes Used: 29
Use the hook technique to make it up to the top, with both needing to use four on the first platformer and BOXBOY only needing to use three of the second.
For BOXGIRL to collect the Crown, she’ll need to make three boxes up and two to the left as shown below…
Once BOXGIRL is up the top, have her make four horizontal boxes and throw them onto the spikes so that the far left one is hanging over the edge. Then have BOXBOY make four boxes up and one to the right to hook onto BOXGIRL’s boxes and collect the Crown.
World 4-3
Boxes Used: 5
Have BOXGIRL make three boxes whilst standing on the edge (left, down, left). Then have BOXBOY make two boxes (up, right) and jump to the right so that he hooks onto the leftmost box, collects the Crown and can pull himself up to get to the door.
World 4-4
Boxes Used: 12
Have BOXGIRL make four boxes horizontally, jump to the right and hook onto the ledge. Before reeling herself in, BOXBOY can jump onto the boxes and climb over.
Now that you’re both of the other side, you can have one player stand on top of the other and jump to get the Crown.
Then have the bottom player make two horizontal boxes and have them teetering over the edge. Use the boxes as a bridge.
Lastly, have one player make four boxes (right x3, up) and whilst holding them, the other can jump onto the top-right box, make two boxes (up, right) and hook onto the top ledge to get the Crown as shown below. After that, have the top player jump down onto the boxes again and then across to the door, followed by the other player jumping across and hooking themselves on the ledge.
World 4-5
Boxes Used: 10
Have one player make two boxes and place them in the spikes as far right as you can. Then have that player jump on top of the other, jump onto the boxes, make one box upwards and then have the player on top jump up to the button above. With that box the player had made, carry it over to the red button and place it on top of it. Then you can have one player on top of the other on the box, jump up to the top and let your partner through.
For this next bit, have one player make three boxes horizontally and the other make a three-boxed hook (up x2, left) and use it to hook onto the end of the boxes to collect the Crown as shown below.
Now the player can bring themselves up and the other can drop the boxes onto the red button, making the platform. Have one player jump on top of the other, have the bottom player make a box up once, jump up to the blue button and get to the door.
World 4-6
Boxes Used: 13
Have BOXBOY on the left stand on the blue button to make the platform for BOXGIRL to make a five-boxed hook and get her up to the top.
Now BOXGIRL can throw a single box down onto the red button, allowing BOXBOY to make his own five-boxed hook and get up to the top. Once BOXBOY is up, have him make two boxes to the left and whilst holding onto it, BOXBOY can walk across and collect the Crown.
World 4-7
Boxes Used: 17
Have one player stand on top of the other and have the bottom player make long left hook (up x4, left). This will allow the other player to stand on the blue button and the other to use their hook to pull themselves up to the left. Once on the blue platform, make one box to the right and jump to use it as a hook and bring them across.
For the next section, have one player throw a single box onto the spikes. Then have that player stand on top of the other and jump onto the box. Now the bottom player can make a four-boxed left hook (up x3, left), allowing the player on top to jump onto the platform above. Before they stand on the red button, have the bottom player jump over to the right. Then the top player can stand on the button, allowing the bottom player to use the hook on the red platforms and bringing themselves up.
Lastly, have one player place a single box onto the red button and then jump on top of the other. Then the other player can make a five-boxed right hook (up x4, right) so that the player on top can jump over to grab the Crown. Now that player can make their way over to the door and the bottom player use the hook to bring themselves up.
