Kickstarter Project of the Week: Warped Metaverse
For this week’s Switch Kickstarter Project of the Week, we will be looking at PrimeShots Studios’ Warped Metaverse. Here’s the rundown:
Warped: Metaverse is a 3D Action-Adventure game that challenges players to use interesting mechanics learned through the course of the game to defeat enemies and save the world. Players interact with the world through Jay, a hero chosen by fate to stop Kreinold, a villain bent on causing mayhem.
Players are free to choose how they progress through their quest, and liberating worlds from Kreinold’s clutches allows Jay to meet new comrades and fell dangerous enemies. Players are free to progress at their own pace and can re-visit conquered areas whenever they wish. Additional endings, hidden collectibles, and engaging side-quests encourage replay-ability, and help truly immerse players in the rich worlds of the Metaverse.
Additionally, each world the player explores throughout their journey introduces new mechanics to Jay, borrowing elements from other game genres such as platforming, puzzling, action-combat, and more!
Warped Metaverse aims to release on PC, Nintendo Switch and PS4, with Xbox One as a $150,000 stretch goal. The project requires US$47,000 and is currently sitting at $2,593 with 27 days remaining.
